John McNinch

John has spent his entire life in the hospitality business. He started at a very young age at Eastover Resort in Lenox, which was owned by his family. After College and a quick jaunt around the world, John moved to Boston to be with his wife, Jackie. Working his way up in the Boston restaurant scene, he finally found himself working as the assistant General Manager of Legal seafoods, where he oversaw all front and back of house operations a few years later, John and Jackie were ready to start a family, so back to the Berkshires they went, and soon after came Tucker and Connor. John and Jackie bought a rundown bar in Lenox in 2000; they were able to turn The Olde Heritage Tavern into the busiest spot in town catering to everyone. A brief 21 years later, they decided to take a break, selling The Heritage. After 4 months of retirement, boredom overtook John and he and Tucker decided to partner up and start a new restaurant with the goals of catering to everyone, taking care of the staff as well as the customers.

Tucker McNinch

Tucker and his brother Connor also grew up in the hospitality industry. Tucker was 3 when his parents bought The Olde Heritage Tavern, and was a fixture there for most of his life. He actually made his teachers jealous when he was able to take the bus from school to the restaurant. At an early age he got to do all the fun jobs like washing dishes and bussing tables, but eventually he grew to take a leadership roll at the restaurant. Tucker decided to do a coop from Northeastern University at The Heritage to give John the time he needed to recover from his stroke; It was this time that showed his true passion for the industry. After the sale of the Heritage, Tucker searched for a business and ultimately found this location and started 101 Restaurant & Bar.
